Sanco Inn Nagoya Shinkansen Guchi Annex
Located just a couple of meters outside the west exit of Nagoya Station the Sanco Inn Nagoya Shinkansen Guchi Annex awaits you. The hotel just opened in 2017 and all the facilities are new and modern.
All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, desk and free WIFI. Your private bathroom comes equipped with a bathtub and many amenities such as shampoo, soap, a hairbrush, and shaver.
A 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and laundry are also available inside the hotel.
For only 5 US dollars a day you can add a convenient breakfast.
The rooms at Sanco Inn Nagoya are quite small, as is usual for hotels in Japan in general.
You can choose your favorite pillow upon check-in to ensure you have the best night possible. You can choose different heights and how hard or soft your pillow should be.
The location is also the best in Nagoya for this price. Just outside Nagoya Station is your best choice for your stay in Nagoya.
Meitetsu New Grand Hotel
Just a couple of meters from Nagoya Station is the Meitetsu New Grand Hotel. The modern hotel offers small but comfortable rooms with amenities such as a desk, TV, airconditioning, a refrigerator, and an electric kettle.
The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub and toiletries and a hairdryer is provided.
Rooms can be categorized into double, twin and single rooms and they are either smoking or non-smoking rooms.
The hotel has a banquet room for breakfast as well as a restaurant for lunch and dinner. Other services the hotel provides are a 24-hour front desk, vending machines, free WIFI, and charged parking.
There aren’t too many complaints about the Meitetsu New Grand Hotel. Some people complained about small rooms and small beds. Others mentioned that they would have like a bottle of water in the room.
Overwhelmingly the guests complimented the convenient location. The good value for money was also positively mentioned multiple times.

The newly renovated Hotel Resol Nagoya offers modern accommodation only 5 minutes from Nagoya Station.

This is a hotel with very small rooms. There is not enough space for two big luggage to be opened and there is no storage space.
The great location and modern rooms were complimented by many previous guests. It is a very convenient hotel for budget travelers.
Just Inn Premium Nagoya Station
Just Inn Premium Nagoya Station just opened in 2017 and is a very modern hotel about 7 minutes walk from Kokusai Center Train Station, and about 1 kilometer from Nagoya Station.
Because of the distance from the stations, the hotel rooms here are a little bit bigger than at other hotels in the same price category. Amenities include a wardrobe, TV, free WIFI, airconditioning, a desk, and a refrigerator, as well as an electric kettle.
Bathrooms are modern Japanese with a bathtub, high-tech toilet and many other amenities such as a bathrobe, toiletries, and slippers.
Free luggage storage, vending machines, and coin laundry are available at the hotel. Highly-rated breakfast is included in the room rate.

Daiwa Royal Hotel D-City Nagoya Fushimi is a modern hotel close to Fushimi Station, just one stop from Nagoya Station on the Higashiyama Subway Line.
The hotel features rooms with air-conditioning, a desk, and a TV. A special feature is a massage pillow in the rooms as well as a free smartphone rental.
Facilities at the hotel include a restaurant, 24-hour reception, and luggage storage. Coin laundry is also available. A Japanese breakfast buffet is available at an additional charge.
For some reason, the hotel provides female-only standard double and twin rooms. Which are cheaper than normal standard double and twin rooms.
Daiwa Royal Hotel D-City Nagoya Fushimi is a non-smoking hotel. The hotel also has a small Onsen for use.
Some people complained that the elevator was too slow, the location was far from Nagoya Station (I suppose if you walk it is quite far, but it’s just one stop by subway). And as is often the case the rooms are quite small, especially for two people.
Many guests complimented the great location close to Fushimi Station. With many restaurants around and great public transport to explore other parts of town.
Most guests appreciated the thoughtful little touches like the massage pillow and the smartphone rental generally not provided by other hotels.

The convenient location and great value for money were often mentioned by travelers.
Hotel Actel Nagoya Nishiki

The b Nagoya greets its guests just 3 minutes walk from Sakae station in the heart of Nagoya.

Really convenient is the 24-hour convenience store on the first floor of the hotel.
There weren’t too many similar complaints. The air condition is regulated centrally and cannot be adjusted. Therefore some guests feel to warm others too cold.
Room size is small, but not as small as other hotels in the same price category.
Some guests complained the staff wasn’t as welcoming and friendly as in other hotels in Japan.
